Set of two jugs – for coffee / tea and cream – in Art Deco style. Made of metal with black bakelite trim (handles and lids of jugs). Good condition, numerous abrasions.
France, first half 20th century

– larger jug: height 16.5 cm, length 20 cm, width 6 cm;
– smaller jug: height 12 cm, length 14.5 cm, width 5 cm.
Christian Fjerdingstad (1891-1968) was a Danish jeweler and goldsmith, recognized as one of the founders of the Art Deco style in these domains and in the field of metal utility products. From 1925 he worked as the creative director of the French jewelry brand Christophle.
